7-Days Tour

Day 1. Tbilisi

Arrival in Tbilisi. Departure to the hotel.

Tbilisi is an ancient capital and the largest city of Georgia, sunny and beautiful. Nowadays Tbilisi is the main industrial, cultural, and social center of Georgia. The image of old Tbilisi is like no other city in the World. Tbilisi possesses a special atmosphere. They're always active life: Bars, pubs, nightclubs, live music, wine bars, billiard halls, casinos, and music till the morning. We will see both modern and old cities. So there you can see: As Orthodox churches also temples and mosques, Ancient and modern buildings, Historical places, Waterfalls, and Sulfur's ancient baths which are Waterfalls, and Sulfur's ancient baths which are known as mineral waters. This is the reason why the city's name is Tbilisi.

Day 2. Tbilisi-Mtskheta- Uflistsikhe-Gori-Tbilisi

Departure to Mtskheta- the first capital of Georgia. The city is located in the merging rivers: of Mtkvari and Aragvi. Exploring historical places takes from 4 to 5 hours. At this time we visit: Outstanding examples of medieval religious architecture in the Caucasus represented, by UNESCO-listed monuments such as Svetitskhoveli, and Jvari monastery. They show the high artistic and cultural level attained by this ancient kingdom.

 From Mtskheta, we will depart to Uflistsikhe caves, the most historical and cultural place in Georgia. “The city of the priests” is where history begins in antiquity.  You can not forget the impressions that give you the stone city. The ancient town is located  Kartli region of Georgia. Uplistsikhe is on the left side of the river MtkvariUplistsikhe contains structures from the Iron age and Middle ages. Is one of the oldest settlements of Georgia, and it is full of rock-cut structures, caves, and tunnels. The Christian church from the 10th century stands on the top of the summit. After the Christianisation of Georgia, the town lost its importance. 

 Our next destination is Gori- - Stalin’s birthplace and one of the oldest towns in Georgia and explore his love through the years in the Museum. Also, we will see the Gori fortress, 13th century fortified castle complex. It stands on top of the mountain and watches over the city and Kartli. Dinner at Gori restaurant. Return to Tbilisi.

Day 3. Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Stephantsminda

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart to the Mskheta due to its historical significance and several cultural monuments, the “Historical Monuments of Mtskheta” become a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994. As the birthplace and one of the most vibrant centers of Christianity in Georgia, Mtskheta was declared the “Holy City” by the Georgian Orthodox Church in 2014. Svetitskhoveli- Cathedral- the first church built in the 4th century. Afterward, during the centuries it became the largest and the most impressive church in Georgia. Christ’s mantle was buried here, which was brought here from Jerusalem. The church is on the UNESCO world heritage site. Holy Cross Monastery- Jvari Monastery – is a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century. Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia.  There are picturesque views of Tbilisi and Mtskheta from the monastery territory. Nowadays Jvari Monastery is an active church and monks live there.  it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Then going to Stephantsminda. On the way, we'll see the Jinvali reservoir, Ananuri Castle, and the Fortress complex. This complex was built during the XV-XVIII centuries and its unique because of its architecture and history. There are monuments of cult, military, and secular things. Despite that in Georgia there are a lot of monuments from this epoch, but there are only a few ones so well gathered and relatively well protected. After Ananuri we will arrive in Gudauri.Resort Gudauri which we want to offer is the most well-developed winter resort for ski lovers. Gudauri is a perfectly modern mountain ski resort in Georgia,. It is also ideal for sporting extreme types of sports. It is located on the main ridge of the Caucasus, on the Georgian military road, near the Cross Pass, 120 km away from Tbilisi. The Gudauri slopes offer all opportunities for skiing all kinds of skiers. The slopes of slippery trails lead to greater pleasure for beginner and professional skiers and snowboarders. The last destination is Stephantsminda(Kazbegi).

Day 4. Kazbegi-Gergeti-Dariali-Gveleti-Stephantsminda

we will hike to Gergeti Trinity church(approx. 1,5h) which is the most symbolic place of Kazbegi. The church was built in the 14th century and is a favorite for photographers because of its stunning and unique views around. Gergeti Trinity Church is one of the ancient architecture of Georgia with a combination of landscape and attractive composition. After lunch, we will go to Dariali Gorge with an amazing landscape where we have the border to Russia.

After Dariali Gorge you will see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the whole of Georgia.

After a long hiking day dinner at the hotel.

Day 5. Stephantsminda-Tbilisi

Coming back to the capital. On that day you'll have a chance to explore night Tbilisi- completely different side of the city.

Day 6. Tbilisi-Telavi-Alaverdi-Tsinandali-Telavi

Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit The Batonis Fortress in Telavi. It was the residence of the kings of Kakheti in the 16th-18th centuries. The historical significance palace where was born King Erekle II. Alaverdi Monastery (20 km from Telavi) was founded by Assyrian father Joseph Alaverdali. Also, we will go to Tsinandali and see Alexander Chavchavadze's palace. Tsinandali was the estate of the Chavchavadze family – representatives of the 19th-century Georgian aristocracy. A walk through the beautiful English-style garden will take you to the house museum of the famous poet and duke Alexander Chavchavadze and the winery where you can taste some famous Kakhetian wines and visit the collection of old wines, the oldest going back to 1814. The first person who Molded wine in Georgia with European rule. Also, we will visit the old and new Shuamata monastery complexes. Overnight at the hotel in Telavi.

 Day 7. Departure to the Tbilisi Airport.
